Montreal, April 10th 2018 Subject: Important information – Place Bonaventure’s future projects Dear tenant, We are pleased to announce that Place Bonaventure will undergo exciting changes in the upcoming months. These important investments will allow Place Bonaventure to reposition itself in the city, as well as offer an inspiring work and life environment to its occupants. Renovations on the building’s main entrances as well as on the De La Gauchetière façade will provide significantly more natural light inside the building, all the while preserving the building’s unique architectural personality. Also, new and unique common areas dedicated to Place Bonaventure’s tenants will be unveiled in the coming weeks. In addition, multiple improvements are underway on some of the office floors’ common areas. All these projects, and many more, will reinforce Place Bonaventure’s unique status as a landmark business center in the Montréal downtown core. We are aware that the construction may cause some disturbances, but rest assured that we will take all necessary measures to minimize the impact on your day to-day operations. Phase 1 – Renovation of the De La Gauchetière façade Dates: Mid-April to the fall of 2018 This first phase consists in the transformation of the De La Gauchetière façade. Glazing will be integrated in the structure to allow more natural light to enter the building in addition to modernizing its architecture. This transformation will require that the entrance at the intersection of Robert- Bourassa Blvd and De La Gauchetière Street be closed from mid-April to the fall of 2018. Universal access ramps will be located at the following entrances:  888 De La Gauchetière W. (North-West corner of the building);  900 De La Gauchetière W. (Hotel entrance) ;  Saint-Antoine (near Mansfield Street intersection. A new tab ''Construction-Info'' on the main page of our website www.placebonaventure.com will be available soon. La STM, un partenaire essentiel du REM Plusieurs grands projets de développement nécessiteront des ajustements en profondeur dans le réseau de la STM. Que l’on pense au futur REM, au SRB Pie-IX, à la venue de 300 nouveaux bus ou au prolongement de la ligne bleue, le réseau doit être repensé en fonction de la nouvelle configuration du réseau métropolitain. Pour vous aider à y voir plus clair, voici un premier article sur le REM (Réseau express métropolitain). Voilà un projet qui fait couler beaucoup d’encre. Dès son annonce en avril 2016, une démarche de collaboration s’est amorcée entre la direction Planification et développement des réseaux, Livraison du service et la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ Infra), qui voulait connaître les besoins opérationnels de la STM à chacune des stations du REM, notamment en termes d’espaces requis pour nos véhicules. Cette première étape était nécessaire pour lancer rapidement l’appel d’offres pour la construction de ce réseau. Aujourd’hui, la planification se poursuit toujours, grâce à une collaboration étroite entre la STM et l’ensemble des partenaires du REM, à savoir la Ville de Montréal, les arrondissements et villes liées et, bien sûr, l’ARTM. Cette planification a, entre autres, nécessité un exercice de révision préliminaire du réseau de bus dans les secteurs qui seront desservis par le REM. La STM prend également part aux discussions afin d’organiser l’aménagement et les accès autour des stations, notamment pour celle qui est prévue dans la portion sud du centre-ville et qui a le potentiel de modifier en profondeur la dynamique des secteurs de la Cité du Multimédia, du Quartier de l’Innovation, de Griffintown et de Pointe-Saint-Charles. Une fois les ententes signées entre CDPQ Infra et les consortiums, la STM aura pour tâche de participer aux revues de conception des stations, en lien avec les besoins du réseau de bus (boucles et terminus) et d’interconnexions aux stations de métro McGill et Édouard-Montpetit. Concertation à l’interne Suivant l’annonce de la connexion du REM aux lignes bleue et verte du métro, puis en parallèle à la mise en branle officielle du projet, un comité de coordination à l’interne a été mis en place, regroupant différents acteurs de la Livraison du service, du BPEFM (Bureau de projets équipements fixes métro) et du BPIM (Bureau de projets infrastructures métro).
