Did anyone notice who the drawing / rendering was supposedly done for? It's not the HHI group, it's Newport Realty Inc. Doing a bit of digging doesn't turn up their name on any property management, developers or realtor list in Quebec. Basically, they're not even registered here based on the info I have access to.

 

More and more, this is looking like a flight of fancy to me and nothing more.

 

The fact that the rendering was made for another company means nothing, look at the Waldorf Astoria, it's supposed to be built and owned by Monit, with W=A managing it. Most of the hotels don't belong to the chain, but to other companies and the chain manages the hotel.

Une mise-à-jour des rendus... pourrait être un bon signe? Pourquoi faire une mise-à-jour d'une simple vision? Moi je dis que les chances de voir cette tour monter viennent de passer de 5% à 8%!
