  1. Wow just noticed after you pointed it out. Disappointing.
  2. Oui. Mais je t’agace. Our missing older friend (I’m guessing he’s summering in the Hamptons) proposed that wall for a big Rocket mural.
🤔 Gerry, is that you?
  4. LOL that’s not a compelling reason to add 14,000 cars a day to the area. 😂
😉 Nagannappen
  6. You should apply there! It’d be awesome to work with that team! Ok back to the thread: when I was young(er), the “epicentre” of Montréal was the mundane intersection of Peel & Ste-Catherine. It has long since been eclipsed by McGill College, thanks in no small part to the original rebuild (and the nixing of the Concert Hall plan!). With the REM station going in, the Ste-Cat revitalization, and the eventual full revamp of McGill College, this intersection will finally come close to being world-class.
  7. Wow what’s the tall one behind it? 😉
  8. They’re in Mile-End just east of Ubisoft. Great place to work, booming now. I remember when it was just three guys! My brother in law was considering accepting the MIS position a few years ago.
  9. But but but… the Bell (né Molson) Centre is what amputated the line from the grand Windsor Station terminal!
  10. Keeping my fingers crossed that the above proposal is just “temporary” until the long-awaited tower gets built on top of the terminal.
  11. The second most important passenger rail terminal in this province. Shameful.
  12. Exactement.
  14. [And yes, many KPF buildings are masterpieces, so I’d welcome a developer retaining them for a new tower or complex in Montréal]
Rigueur, rigueur, rigueur.
  16. How? No joke, there is no access, no traffic mitigation, no parking. The dumbness of this development gets more and more profound.
  17. Ummm other cities already have bi-articulated buses, and electric versions are being built. STM doesn’t design or build anything, nor hold any intellectual property for electric rubber-tired vehicles. Our metro, in its time, was a derivative of the Paris pneumatic models that had already been running for almost two decades. Here is the Hess electric “metro” bus being built right now for EIS in Brisbane in 2023 (others are being introduced elsewhere):
