Voici quelques photos pêles-mêles de mon présent voyage à Miami. Beaucoup beaucoup de hautes tours résidentielles en construction... très impressionnant.

Je suis surpris que Miami est #3 aux USA pour le nombre de tours.

lol as tu déjà vu le monorail de Disney? 24 km et 150k passagers par jours et sans caténaire 😋 Et c'est tellement propre, je peux manger à terre.

On pourra p-e les démanteler un jour, qui sait. Dans un futur hypothétique, Montréal aura aussi ses palmiers!

Ah Miami, skyscrapers everywhere, but a horrible urban fabric with zero life at the pedestrian level. It hasn't changed at all lol.

Lol, you're also forgetting the Metromover is a one car (sometimes 2) system that goes a whopping.... *checks notes* 9mph.

It’s very hot and during the day it’s pretty quiet. The locals told me it’s the calmest time of the year. During the day I usually stay at the pool except when I go get some food hehe. So yes no one is walking around in the scorching heat. 
 

In the evening it’s much better though.

In the evening it’s much better though. 

Compared to Montreal though, it doesn't hold a candle to the pedestrian activity the city sees. Hell, when I lived in Brickell, it was always quiet even during peak time and at night. You have one or two active areas, but that's it. Wynwood is still solid but it really lost its luster over the years.
