    IMO, It would not take much for Laval to get to Vancouver's Metrotown area. At Carrefour Laval: 1- continue the metro to Carrefour Laval; 2-replace the open parking with below ground; and 3- build thousands of condo and apartment units as well as office space in the space formerly occupied by the parking lot - et VOILA!.

    They need to do something with the façade of the Bell Center. It should be one giant video screen covering all that brick.

    Longueil has it all wrong. A downtown should not be defined by just having skyscrapers. It should be defined by street life. We can learn from small European cities that have dynamic downtowns without having one building over 8 floors tall.

    I hope they have a plan for the entrance at Queen Mary that is worthy of this jewel to replace the mall parking we have now.

    I think this one will attract a different crowd from the PVM and the Eaton Ctre. The PVM and Eaton Ctre will definitely compete.

    IMO there should be a pedestrian promenade from the Beaudry metro station on Beaudry going all the way to the St Larence river- traversing this project and the Molson site> Imagine it would bring together the Gay Village, Radio Canada, this project, the Molson project and the old port and the river.

    That is great news! Let's hope they can capture and execute the Chesea market soul. The centralized 750 spaces worries me as that is symbolic of a mall food court.

    I totally agree. This project should be the equivalent today of what Place Ville Marie was for Montreal in the 60's.

    It could also be a multi-venue theatre with a rotating stage that could permit different Cirque presentations throughout the tourist season

    It should be a loop similar to the monorail at Disneyworld and I hope it is private and if it is please go ahead, and if it isn't please don't do it. I agree with ymenard a metro station on the orange in the vieux-port line does the trick.
