Does anyone know if there is enough room to put the stadium on the north side of Sherbrook between Atwater and College de Montreal. If so, this would be an amazing site.

As long as there are partners with very deep pockets and clout (Bronfman, Garber, Bell, etc...) and it appears to be so - Montreal will certainly have a team very soon

Boring! Given its vocation, this whole building should have been animated and lit up in the Times Square style.

I like except too far from the water. Need to do something to limit rail tracks or build over like in Chicago.

IMO the expansion should aim to make Montreal the premier convention city of the country. It needs to be able to accommodate the large gatherings and conferences and should be built east of St Laurent in the quadrilateral St Laurent/Viger/Hotel de Ville/St Antoine. It would tie up with the CHUM and complete the area. On the west side of St Laurent a park should be built in the style of Dominion Square bringing a lot of class and greenery to the area with hotels facing the park both on St Antoine and Viger. The current palais' façade on St Urbain should be redone and should incorporate a hotel. Given our weather, Hotels should also be incorporated in the new palais as well as as along Viger and St Antoine. And finally connect both palais underground alongside the metro line.
