  1. I lived on the 16th floor of 3488 Cote des Neiges and every night the PVM beam would hit our windows hard.
  2. This looks like a great project to me. While street-viewing the area, I found this random scene. Seems sketchy, what could he possibly be doing?
  3. 18 months of studies. OK.
  4. Sounds like great news. Just hope the architecture is appropriate for Old Montreal. Do we have examples of buildings built by the GoC in historical districts in the past 10 years?
  5. Looks like the Viger building next to it is also going up pretty fast. I should take pictures tomorrow while I'm on a beer run at Depanneur Mosaique.
  6. May 13 2019. Should be a good vantage point for the Duke.
  7. Yes it almost does look like stamped concrete on the sides.
  8. First of 15 projects? Am I reading this right? Jesus fucking christ. Wow. Either a typo or these guys .... are crazy (possibly in a good way)
  9. Last I heard they're at 400 Maisonneuve W in the Gordon Brown. They're probably getting another floor.
  10. Great news (IMHO). There's absolutely room for expansion out back. Hopefully they figure out how to integrate the house on President Kennedy while still doubling but I guess I wouldn't even stand in the way of a demolition. It'd be nice if the extension brings some sort of life to that street instead of yet another loading dock.
  11. Just noticed the peace symbols. Have they always been there?
  12. Rôle d'évaluation foncière https://servicesenligne2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/sel/evalweb/index Maybe, I dunno
  13. @Mtlarch La Presse building was JUST recladded 2 years ago. Unfair comparison.
  14. Not at all what I'm suggesting. I'm actually praising them. I guess that wasn't clear enough.
  15. Absolutely insane effort to preserve the facades. Would anybody really care if they just rebuilt them with new bricks?
  16. Where is this in Carignan now? Can I street view the area? Found it. Completely unaccessible.
  17. I worry about a potential sinkhole on William like we saw on st Laurent due to Serenity. Those of you who drive on William should know what I mean. You won't really see it on my picture.
  18. Affaissement de chaussée dans le quartier chinois Sinkhole opens up in Chinatown, causing partial closure of St. Laurent Blvd https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1654885
  19. April 7th 2019 from Crawford Park
  20. April 4th 2019 -- cranes as far as the eye can see
  21. April 4th 2019 -- sorry for any false alarms. But the former Sears space is getting some updates. See what it used to look like before. Yes that's a pépine on site.
