The maps in the Tokyo Metro show the Toei Subway lines and stations, as well as JR East lines and stations. They all display each other’s info, as one would expect.

Would it have hurt them to spritz a little Windex on the plexi when they changed the map? Geez

I’ve had a couple of days to digest all this discussion since I posted the first links to the La Presse story about the leaked report the other day. I’m beginning to think it isn’t incompetence, nor is it a political ploy to torpedo the whole idea, but rather it’s kind of a slap in the face to CDPQi and the Legault administration. “You want something better along this ridiculously dumb route that won’t anger anybody? Many of us have been saying that since the “REM-de-l’Est” was hinted at five years ago yesterday, and plans unveiled in December, 2020. Heck, I sing this song every time someone mentions that it would be reasonable to spend $1 billion or more to send the West Island branch of the REM across 12 km of nothing out to Vaudreuil.

When I was younger, my friends who attended that school took the 68. The most insane paradox of suburban life is “I gotta drive my kids to school because there’s so much dangerous traffic these days!”

It’s a 30 zone. It doesn’t need more traffic lanes. There are other ways to get from east to west if you are in a hurry. But it doesn’t have a sidewalk, and you’d be surprised at the number of cyclists on any given day. Even just driving will be improved and made more safe by removing the Hydro poles, which in many parts are actually in the roadway. This is a really good plan for this particular stretch of road.
