    Trickle-up economics. As discussed before, new condos and expensive rentals downtown (etc) attract established buyers and renters coming from CDN/NDG and other core neighbourhoods, as well as empty-nesters from SFH suburbs, which frees up their properties for those buyers and renters starting to move up, which then allows those entering the market to find more affordable units. Not everything has to be “social” or “affordable” housing.

    Meh. I’ve been on escalators that are less than 15 feet long in Asia and Europe. I have even been on escalators that become travelators. Nothing is impossible if there is a will to do it.

    I’m having trouble understanding why there are no escalators in this station. Just one set of elevators on each platform.
