    My guess is Amazon wants to monopolise everything and have a hold in other cities. Plus with tech and AI booming, and Amazon wanting to be #1 at everything it seems, they can now hire 50,000 qualified people that could've gone to Google, Apple or whomever.

    I would love Amazon to open their 2nd H.Q here, especially that it'll create 50,000 jobs. If I was Coderre I'd go in there hard to bring them, but they'll most likely stick in the U.S

    Looks half empty, but according to the site it's more or less 1/3 empty. http://deloittetower.ca/stacking-plan.php Plus the MTL stock exchange will move here, so that's 2 floors I believe.

    Not bad, really like the art and the trees and all, but too much grey/concrete for me. Would've been nice if they added vibrant colours or something, and would've been nice if they added more grass/less concrete.

    I'm not talking about the height or floors, I'm talking about the project itself, for both buildings.

    We are, but it's slowly changing. First with TDC 2/3, then Children's (even though that 120M plateau is there, it's still 40M taller than other buildings in the area). Maybe this tower will be taller than 128.1M too! I mean anything is possible. We may not have the tallest buildings, but on ground level, we are one of the best in N.A.

    I have great confidence in this project, mainly because C.F has balls and believes in Montreal. As of Q2 2017, according to JLL, there's 901,000 sq.ft U.C downtown, which is pretty good. That's even with a 9% vacancy rate for class A space, which continues to go down. So I'll be optimistic about this project, with caution obviously. But like I said, anything can happen, I personally think if class A vacancy goes down to around 6-7% then things can heat up, not only with this project but all the other proposals.

    All trends are going lower, this will probably get built within 5 years rather than a decade. Who knows tho, maybe something crazy will happen and it'll get built in the next 1-3 years, or maybe next 5-7 years, anything is possible.

    750 Peel, as of now, is gonna be between 160-180M (North tower) if all goes to plan and there's demand.

    Yeah, that's the one I'm referring to. If we go by what the website says, it's a 50-floor project.

    I'm aware it's a Six Flags park, I'm saying that in 2001 when the city was selling the park if they chose C.F, it would've been better. All the parks run by C.F are super clean, fast operations, meanwhile S.F is like a large ghetto carnival.

    I bet if the city sold La Ronde to Cedar Fair, the park would have better rides, operations, cleanliness and would attract more tourists. Also, they have better prices! I visited Canada's Wonderland for cheaper and that park is top notch.

    Yup, I believe it's at the entrance, and if you look at his stories on IG, you'll see more art. It's basically gonna be one long wall it seems, very exciting stuff.

    saw a sneak peek on Instagram, some murals will be made for the bar. There's one of Tim Raines and another of Serge Savard (I believe) with the Stanley cup next to it.

    I passed by the sales office today, saw a large group of Chinese people/investors inside. I talked to some and they purchased units for phase 2. In addition, saw many plates from Ontario for this project/others.
