  1. The Borg called, they want their cube back.
  2. It looks about the same as most of the buildings along R-L est. 😆
  3. Yet another reason why we should keep the 200m height limit!! To preserve the view from the Champlain bridge through the iron grate.* * Évidemment, c'est une blague 😆
  4. Ils ont juste oublié d'indiquer "spandrel cheap".
  5. Westcliff didn't get the memo it's 2021. 😆 Ils dorment au gaz!!
  6. Seems less for Tower 2? Only 9 storeys listed. Maybe reflects the original plan...
  7. Reports of the cranes demise have been greatly exagerated! Empirical evidence is the best kind of evidence.
  8. 147.5 mètres! YES! AB1 (Anything But 120!!!)
  9. 😂🤣 At least it will be NATURAL?! lol you may have a point though. Maybe I'll choose a beach instead to ride this out.
  10. If it contains dark pre-fab panels I'm moving to an underground cave for the next 25 years until this pre-fab craze passes. NO MORE PRE-FAB
  11. Love it or hate it, what a transformation Griffintown has gone through over the last 10 years. I'm in my 40's and I've never witnessed a neighborhood develop like this on the île de Montréal. Even Vaudreuil didn't develop this quickly.
  12. It's our version of Rome's Colosseum! Let's make it a heritage site and charge visitors.
  13. Early estimates coming in at $58 billion
  14. Dreamers will dream! But I agree that essential infrastructure cannot be forgotten. Is there room for both? Perhaps, perhaps not...
  15. au contraire! I was saying that we should get back to that type of grandiose thinking. 😀
  16. Will it even matter once it is absolutely COVERED in grafitti. Can't wait for that lovely sight. Maybe Red Hot Chili Peppers can come do a rendition of "Under the Bridge".
  17. Or they can just make the lanes straight so that drivers have a general sense of direction even when there is snow covering the markings. Roads should be "natural" to navigate as much as possible. What they did on Peel with the zigging and the zagging just doesn't create any natural flow for winter driving (let alone summer!).
  18. It may have been our style once upon a time when PVM, TDLB, CIBC, etc were built. I mean, were those buildings reaching that height absolutely necessary at the time? I'm sure there was some ego and vanity involved.
  19. lol nobody better yell "FEU"!
  20. Yeah that'll work well in winter when the lines are covered in snow and ice. It's like we forget we need to design road markings to work in both summer AND winter. ALLOOOOO??
