    I agree. It boggles my mind that some people on this board think its ok for young children to meet with such social scum but then again im not surprised given the low social moral of our society lately. In regards to your point on social media mob mentality, you are spot on. Just look at the amount of thumbs down I get on my post which is intentionally orchestrated by a mob segment of the MTLURB community. Not that I care for this or that it will deter me from giving my opinion, but it just shows how sad social media, and this forum for that matter, has become.

    I understand this. But did this bridge really need a tower with cables other then for aesthetic reasons?? I'm sure the public would've been pleased with a simple functional bridge.

    Do I have to speak in french or Quebecois on this forum to get people to understand my comments??? Ce que jai dit simplement c'est que le cout global de cette projet du pont St-Jacques aurai pu etre moin couteux avec un design moin extravagante. Je ne blame pas le design sur les couts extra publier aujourdhui!

    If you read my post, I did not blame the design of the bridge. I pointed out that cost savings could've been made with a more simple design!

    Oui je suis d'accord avec vous! Tous ses rencontre sont positive pour le publique. On devrait aussi amener nos petits enfants pour serrer la main de ses pauvre prostituees et peut etre meme prendre une danse pour qu'ils apprennent c'est quoi ce milieu de travaille tres tres dur...

    Clean slick design. Reminds me of Brookfield Place in Calgary Not bulky like the current render.

    Similar white lines found on YUL towers. I prefer the old promoter's render. Impressed with how fast the sales office went up however!

    MLB ranks 3rd as America's most popular sport. NBA is now ranked first ahead of even the NFL. Numbers dont lie. MLB is losing ground. Taxpayers dont need to fork a billion dollars to satisfy a few peoples nostalgia needs.     Baseball is a dying sport. Complete waste of taxpayer dollars. I would rather see an NBA team here. The venue is already there (Bell Center). A much more viable option to say the least!

    Remember, they still have yet to configure the roads which will connect to the bridge. I dont see how this gets done by January. Early spring (March) would be a better estimate.

    Je suis d'accord. Es ce trop dur pour la ville d'exiger que les constructions a hauteur soit vitrer d'une certaine pourcentage?!? Et de plus, regarder moi le design prehistorique!!

    L' Avenue developers could've built to 200m. They decided to cut 7 floors off the original planned render due to market conditions i believe.

    They top 38 floors because the max height for their previous lots were 120m. This lot has a max height of 200m if im not mistaken.

    I would expect them to go to maximum height for this lot. Could be looking at another 50 floors!!
