It's not a forest, it's a garbage dump with a couple of BMX trails. Let's get serious here... this is prime TOD land right next to the REM station. Get a proper plan in place that includes usable green space and be done with it. Can't develop here, can't develop behind the old Merck building (now Traffic Tech), can't develop on an old car dealership on St John's etc etc.... it's unconsciable!

I think the design that was chosen completes the square much better than the rendering above.
