Compared to Montreal though, it doesn't hold a candle to the pedestrian activity the city sees. Hell, when I lived in Brickell, it was always quiet even during peak time and at night. You have one or two active areas, but that's it. Wynwood is still solid but it really lost its luster over the years. 

Of course it doesn’t compare. Why walk when you can stroll in your Bentley or Urus.

Sunny Isles represent! I went there every year from 2015-2020. Haven't returned since covid.

It may be "spectacular" but it also creates a class barrier on who can see the ocean and who has access to them, as homes across the street from these towers tend to be much poorer. It's the case in Miami overall to be fair. One of my pet peeves living there is how they kept limiting access points to the beach for those who did not live next to the ocean.

It is a class barrier but is it different from anywhere else? We have the same in Montreal with those on the mount… they have the best views.

En tk je vois pas de banderoles en plastique attachées aux édifices.. just in Montreal.. des ti-clins jusqu'au bout des ongles.

La Floride est l'endroit le plus propre que j'ai vu.  Miami y a pratiquement pas de graffitis c'est fascinant comparativement à LA ou New York.

Go away from the touristic areas, not only is it dirty and not only tagged up/broken windows, but chickens are running around in the streets.
