Place d'Afrique. Les toits avaient été peinturés jaune après l'ouverture. Cette section existe encore (abandonnée en stationnement), le pont en haut aussi. Le circuit Gilles-Villeneuve a coupé le coin en haut à droite.

Merci. C'est ce que j'avais pensé en voyant les petites huttes mais je ne n'osais pas le dire de peur de me faire ramasser par les bien-pensants du forum.

31 juillet 1969. L'Expo-Express était encore en fonction et on voit bien le circuit, dont un train qui arrive sur le pont vers la station de La Ronde sur la 3e photo. À cette époque, le circuit n'allait plus jusqu'à la Cité du Havre mais arrêtait à la Place des Nations.

Imaginez le même projet de nos jours : Terre des Hommes, des Femmes et des LGBTQ2S+

Ils pourraient juste le nommer Terre des Alphabets. Problem solved.

So many problems "solved" on this forum! (see above)  But meanwhile, so many new problems having emerged with no fully satifactory solutions in sight yet. 😭  Our Messiah needs to stay among us for a little while.

(Please) find below a list of some problems (big and small) awating a solution:

- Search for an acceptable design for the REM de l'Est project;

- Lack of affordable housing in the face of insufficient public funding;

- Continued flight to the suburbs and exurbs despite the introduction of restricting policies;

- Covid; 

- Population ageing;

- Climate change and its consequences; 

- Sustainability of neighborough commercial arteries;

- Reconstruction of the Met;

- Coexistence of cars with the unmentionables;

- Conundrum of height limits and increased density while maintaining conviviality;

- Downtown stadium for a MLB team in Montreal.

And so many others, the point being that the above were not on the radar in the (more or less) distant past.
