    Peut-être parce qu'ils construiront la gare sur une voie ferroviaire active par rapport à une nouvelle voie sans trains ? Ils ne peuvent donc le faire que pendant la nuit pour une partie du travail. 🤷‍♂️

    Dans un courriel qui m'a été envoyé, ils ont dit qu'il y aurait un ascenseur reliant 3 étages : le quai REM, la gare Bonaventure et le hall d'exposition. Sur le site Web, il est indiqué qu'un ascenseur est en cours d'installation jusqu'à cet hiver...

    So for this new section announced, REM would be taking over the CN right of way, does elevated make sense, or would at grade make more sense or even cut? Otherwise just a different group of people could be upset now.

    That's true, the most equivalent would be Bangkok Skytrain, which goes through their downtown with tall buildings, and it goes down a boulevard as well.

    Hopefully then if they do plan a tunnel, they plan for an "easy" expansion under Gare Centrale tracks and not just up to the tracks

    This might be controversial, but I feel having it elevated in downtown would mean it would be easier to expand west to fulfill what was proposed somewhat with the pink line. If it goes underground, it would end at the tracks from Gare Centrale preventing future expansion, unless they went under it which would be more expensive. I do hope if it is elevated downtown it should be more attractive.

    Carte mise à jour des progrès, j'ai ajouté quand je pense que la construction sera terminée pour certaines pièces. C'est juste basé sur d'autres parties du REM et combien de temps certaines pièces ont pris, je ne suis pas en construction, donc c'est juste toutes les suppositions

    So hopefully July opening? Also based on their earlier plans, the All Modes AB Monthly Unlimited should cost around $144, which isn't too bad when compared to the current cost of Unlimited that's only for zones AB and C, $180. I'm curious on if REM will support cards with tap like Apple Pay or Google Pay though because they're installing new machines so no excuse...

    La dernière fois que je suis allé à Bonaventure, ils semblaient avoir bloqué le chemin de passage qu'ils utiliseraient, espérons-le, pour le REM, le panneau ci-dessus est couvert et changé pour ne rien dire aussi. Il se passe peut-être quelque chose, mais nous ne le saurons pas vraiment jusqu'à ce qu'il s'ouvre

    Yes, it is! To the left of the photo of the beams from a few days ago that I posted you can see the end part of the overhead line. Also I have this photo that's from the bridge on Bonaventure Highway that's harder to see but I noticed the cables started from Île-des-Sœurs Station

    I made a little drawing of what I saw of the rails and overhead cables installed. I believe there's just 3 points that need to be connected fully.

    I actually asked this last weekend and they responded on Monday. Just curious, where did you hear about the project being canceled?

    I don't think this will be happening any time soon now, I asked on twitter and they said it's suspended

    They just installed the last beams overnight, if you look on the live camera you can see and compare

    This has been solved this morning, you can see live camera feeds again! Also they said the Work Schedule for 2022 will be updated sometime this month.
