Complété il y a moins d'un an, mais posté ici car il n'y avait pas de fil sur ce projet. Quand même un beau projet pour Longueuil. En plein centre du secteur vieux-Longueuil, sur le bord du fleuve, etc.

Personnellement, j'aime.

haha! Je me rappelle cjb qui a ridiculisé (avant de se rétorquer) l'exposition Montréal du futur parce qu'elle présentait ce projet sur une des affiches...

 

Je suis d'accord avec toi, c'est la preuve que certains projets que l'on croit "morts" ne le sont peut-être pas.

Bon ben... est-ce que le 1300 R-L pourrait être le prochain renaître?

Je suis curieux de voir des rendus de la façade sur sherbrooke..

Je me rappelle de tes premières photos HDR et l'amélioration est très grande depuis, c'est plus modeste et beaucoup plus réaliste! (plus beau aussi)

En effet j'y allais un peu trop fort sur le HDR au depart.. je trouvais l'effet trop cool, il fallait que je crank les effets au max. Maintenant je regarde mes vielles photos HDR et j'aime pas trop Heureusement, il est possible de refaire ces photos avec les originaux! (chose que je compte faire un jour...)

La prochaine etape ca va etre m'acheter un meilleur trepieds + une meilleure camera...

MtlUrb - Concours de Photo I

Puisqu'il y a beaucoup de photographes ici sur MtlUrb, et beaucoup d'amateurs d'urbanisme et d'architecture... Pourquoi pas faire un concours de photo? Ca pourrait même devenir quelque chose de régulier qu'on fait à toutes les semaines!

Voici les règlements:

1. Vous devez prendre une photo d'une scène urbaine selon le thème choisi

2. Vous avez jusqu'à jeudi prochain à midi (le 3 juillet 2008) - donc une semaine - pour prendre votre photo et la soumettre

3. Une photo par personne seulement.

4. HDR et photoshop permis, mais usage déconseillé

5. Pour participer, postez votre photo ici dans le fil tout simplement!

Note 1 : les commentaires sont autorisés dans ce fil, mais il n'y aura pas de vote ici, et pas avant la date limite d'une semaine.

Note 2 : il y aura un nouveau fil avec les photos de tout le monde posté ainsi qu'un sondage pour voter après que les gens auront eu le temps de prendre leurs photos.

Le thème, toujours dans le contexte de l'urbanisme/gratte-ciels/la ville, est :

Du vieux et du nouveau.

Interpretez le thème comme vous le voulez, mais ça doit avoir rapport à la ville et/ou l'urbanisme et/ou les gratte-ciels.

Laissez aller votre imagination!

Meme si c'est rare que ca arrive.. ca prouve que meme des projets "morts" peuvent revenir en force!

Une autre raison d'être content - le projet ne fait PAS 27 ou 28 étages!

You know what.. even if the design doesn't change and the initial rendering sticks - i say : awesome.

I like the rendering we've been shown, i like that two-towers sort of look, something Montreal is lacking. Post-modern? Some hints of art deco? Hard to tell, the rendering is small, but it's definitely not in the same category as, say, the Louis Boheme... Is that a problem? I say no. I think a mix of architectural styles that don't clash and instead complement each other, all in good taste, is what makes a city great, architecturally, and i think this sort of building has a lot of charm and would do good to spruce up an area saturated with some ugly apartment/condo towers.

Only 80 meters?

The height limit for that zone is 80 meters... but 32 floors would definitely exceed that, by a significant margin too, especially if we're talking spacious high-ceiling hotel lobby, that kind of thing. The foor heights won't compare to office floor heights, typically higher, but yeah this will require authorization from the city...

Ca pourrait etre une premiere etape a faire, reunir, en partie, le vieux-Longueuil et le secteur Charles Lemoyne. Ensuite, dans le futur, on pourrait faire de quoi avec l'autoroute 20.

En tout cas, je suis heureux d'apprendre qu'on est pas mal tous d'accord ici sur MtlUrb que la situation de Longueuil n'est pas ideale et il faudrait faire de quoi!

J'aimes bien; ca regle le probleme que ce 'centre ville' de Longueil soit enfermé dans des murs d'autoroutes et ca offre un acces pieton au fleuve.

 

J'ajouterais le double de rue de quartier pour faire des blocs plus petits.

Voici ma vision pour le secteur du bord de l'eau.

The situation is simple. We have a high-density area surrounding a transit hub, a good example of transit oriented development... but it is locked in by highways. Furthermore, the "Old Longueuil" area, the real cultural, historical and recreational area of Longueuil is blocked off from this downtown area as a result. Finally, the waterfront is also isolated by autoroute 20. This isn't just some random waterfront either.. this is PRIME space. Just across from Sainte-Helene island and Montreal. There's a reason throngs of people come here to watch the fireworks in the summer! The view is exceptional!

Solution : Mettre l'autoroute 20 sous terre ainsi qu'une portion du boulevard Taschereau et réunir le bord de l'eau avec Place Charles-Lemoyne (le "centre ville" de Longueuil) et le secteur du Vieux-Longueuil historique (l'autre "centre ville", et selon moi, le vrai) - Faire de cette région un vrai pole économique, culturel, récréotouristique, etc.
