Youppi nous sommes 78ieme! L'étalement urbaine à déjà affecté le centre ville d'une façon incroyable. J'ai fréquenté quand j'étais étudiant il y a 15 ans et le changement est très profonde. Des centres d'achats vide, des commerces qui ferme aussitôt qu'ils ouvrent. Bref, je blâme dix30, Carrefour Laval et cie. du déclin du centre ville déjà amorcé. Ajoute du péage? Oublie ça.

In less than 24 hours the long standing parking lot next to the former IBM building will face the beginning of the end. It is something I have been waiting for since I was a 17 year old boy when the last boom was in Montreal. Although it is not a 200 meter tower, it is the beginning if a great 3 year run that will dramatically change the city's skyline and feel. Cheers to all the forumers whom I am sure share this great moment in the city's history. I hope and pray that icone, tour des canadiens, overdale, roccabella2, avenue, and icone2 all reach for the sky by 2016.

Et si on inclus Overdale... Le skyline aura plus de "punch". Un style à part des autres villes.

On va pas cracher dans la soupe mais j'aurais bien pris une dizaine d'étages de plus !!! À plus ou moins cinquante étages, cette tour aurait été encore plus belle.

This is a perfect example of you don't need to build high to have a beautiful impact on the ground and skyline. Look at the photos of this building from René-Lévesque west! You could see it from Guy!

Also, it fits perfectly in its current location. IMO, This is the building that has created the biggest impact on our city since 2000. My favorite new building so far.

Ils ont retiré le dome pour ajouter les 15 étages qui lui manque.

IMO, Crystal is the ugliest building in the history of humanity. I pray that it implodes into oblivion.

Is it possible that avenue just wants to hide Roccabella's construction? It can't be good for sales if potential clients see another project going up on "your lot".
