    I love it. I really can't see why people are losing their minds over this. R-L is one of the most dangerous and inhospitable stroads in the downtown core. This project kills two birds with one stone.

    NIMBYs, plain and simple. People don't realize how many acres of land had to be cleared to build Ile Bizard, or Beaconsfield, or Sainte-Anne de Bellevue. This is a drop in the bucket comparatively, while contributing significantly more per acre to Montreal's housing stock. Not to mention the Grand Parc de L'Ouest... the forests aren't going anywhere.
