C'est justement en plein ca que je pensais mais je n'osais pas le dire hehe. Refaire la facade de cet immeuble en intégrant peut-etre quelque chose de plus mince au dessus. On ne sait juste pas si l'immeuble actuel pourrait le supporter.

Quand la demande viendra, Place du Canada devrait etre démolit pour faire place a quelque chose de plus adéquat pour le secteur en terme d'hauteur.

It would have been 15 mins to the old Projet Montreal site that will never happen because of the Bonaventure highway... Now we're talking about South of that near Costco...

15 minutes a pieds? Aucunement. Plus comme une demie-heure. Et je ne sais pas si t'es déja passé dans le coin mais les vents sont terribles. Aucun metro a proximité.... Recette pour le désastre. Ca me fait penser au Stade BMO a Toronto.

It seems as though traffic congestion is the common denominator with all the proposed sites. The Peel Bassin would be just as bad, if not worse. I live in the area and really don't get where this phantom site could possibly be located. Honestly, my ideal location for the baseball park is somewhere that has never been brought up in public discourse. It's adjacent to a metro and train station, in the heart of the city, and has historical meaning: freaking Jarry Park. There's ample space to build it north of Uniprix Stadium or (I know this is far-fetched and perhaps a silly dream) tear down embarrassing Uniprix and build a sort of dual Tennis-Baseball Stadium like the VTB Arena in Moscow.

Il ne semble pas avoir de site pour un stade dans le bassin Peel. L'Autoroute Bonaventure bloque l'ancienne idée de projet Montreal et il n'y a pas de terrains assez grand a Griffintown. De plus, l'accès a ce site serait ridicule. Déja pour accéder le pont Victoria ou meme Costco tout proche, de la Montagne est toujours congestionné. Désolé si j'ai manqué quelque chose...

It's pretty clear that Bassin Peel is a no-go. I much prefer this location adjacent to the Jacques-Cartier bridge. It's 3 km from the Bell Centre, straight down Rene-Levesque - c'est une raison parfaite pour ajouter un tramway le long du boulevard
