Could the édifice des coopérants be integrated into the new building? The south side of the base of the new building looks a lot like the édifice des coopérants...

What's the line for?

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!

Does this mean that Saint-Laurent will once again be torn up?

I'm so happy the balconies don't stick out, as on earlier renderings!

Seriously, there's already enough advertising in the world around us. There is advertising between the windows and doors in the metro, and now someone wants to place advertising such that it would appear in the windows. What's next, the floors and ceiling?
-
I think the metro is way too fast for that...

"In the past we offered quite a few group activities, perhaps too many, so we plan to clean up the act," said Sylvia Neider Deschênes, the museum's communications chief.
What does this mean?

East meets west... at the Hilton Garden Inn

It seems to me...
If the appartments in this building really are going to be the most expensive in Montreal, wouldn't the potential buyers be the type who have someone looking for a place for them, and therefore no advertising (to the general public) is really necessary? I find the huge banners to be somewhat out of place for such a posh establishment. I thought the whole thing would be rather discreet, the way multi-millionaires usually like things (unless they're the "look at me, I'm rich" type).

I can confirm that the letters are up on the west side of the tower.
Anybody see the east side?

Je suis allé voir ce midi, je ne comprends pas pourquoi une courbe si pronocée...
Slow down traffic maybe? School zone...

Hopefully, we're looking at a "Quebecor" or "BDC" type of facelift rather than a "Nouveau Colisee"!

Renard Roy a ce problème. Demeurant à Terrebonne et travaillant au centre-ville de Montréal...
There's the problem!

It's great to extend the green line into Lasalle.
The problem is that the wagons are already overflowing with people at peak periods.
What this city needs is a city-wide commuting plan with incentives for people and companies to have staggered shifts (e.g. 7-4, 10-6, 11-7) so that the 9-5 crowd can breathe!

Could FIA be jealous of the growing support for NASCAR?
As in "We don't want to share a track with NASCAR".

I'm not sure how well walls of cheese will hold up in our cold winters!

Que ce passera-t-il si Michael Fortier n'est pas élu?
The world might be a slightly better place...

It's the perfect height to width ratio, not too skinny, not too tall, with a prime location.

EN passant, je serais au Stadu Saputo ce soir pour encourager les boys contre les Whitecaps!
GO Impact!!
Lucky you! The stadium needs more seats! It's impossible to get tickets.

There is a tunnel under Guy from JMSB to Engineering/Computer Science building.

Has anyone noticed that the fomer Air Canada building next to Vendome Metro station now carries an illuminated MUHC sign near the roof?

It all depends on the layout. Sure, if a dealership is built suburban/rural style with sprawling lots, then it has no place downtown. On the other hand, Toyota on Ste-Catherine and Saturn/Saab in PVM are both good examples of urban dalerships that work.

Carrefour Laval needs multi-level parking. I hope it's included in the renovations.

Exactly! The white buildings in the above picture are the buildings located on Beaudry between Rene-Levesque and Ste-Catherine. The tunnel would possibly pass under this entire block of buildings, with some openings along the way.
