It looks like a parking lot.. and the building which will house the restaurant is still in construction and closed off so all we get for now is a cement square.
-
I feel so bad for people who bought a condo in the building next by.. I find this Dorchester building horrendous!

I live right next to this chantier, I have lost hope of ever seeing the end of this (and other endless downtown construction sites). Its funny, 2 years ago i was hoping the ice skating ring would be complete to help me rent out my condo. I had time to move out, rent my condo, live 1 year in LaSalle, and recently return downtown and this is still in progress. A sad sight for sure, there is definetly something wrong..

Next month it will be 3rd year anniversary construction for this project, and its not nearly finished yet.. is it me or there is something very wrong? Not even sure they will be able to finish it before winter time.. incredible

Oh wow.. not sure how I feel about this, kinda looks like a prison. Its massive!

Yup, seems like all promoters are rushing to avoid the new 20/20/20 rule the mayor wants to put in place soon...

Here is an image I found of the project.

There was already a topic for this lot, and the image seems to match the description on there.

Ouin hopefully with the hotel building on top it will make more sense.. right it just looks blah

Yup, seems like this project is abandoned? Which is surprising, because this year the space at Place des Arts will be VERY limited. Esplanade clark is in construction, no more vacant lot at the Maestria and ilot Balmoral which they previously used to expand into, etc.

Yup it is pretty ugly, and it reeeally does not fit with the preserved stone building on the ground floor... in person it just looks terrible.

Are they doing anything with the whole side wall facing Bleury? I certainly hope so!
I am pretty sure they are redoing the side wall.. they cant call this a luxury rental property with that nasty looking cement wall..

How are they going to fit a Super C in that building? knowing there is already an econofitness + a few condos in there..
Plus, Im wondering if they have underground parking?

Thanks for the quick reply
Clark des Arts is where I live , there is an empty lot just in front, and the green dot on the "Projet Immobilier Octobre 2018 en etude" map is right on the lot. wanted to get more information on whats coming.

Question a bit out of context, but how can I get more info on the project seen on the map in the intersection with Rue Clark and Evans? I tried to search on the lobby.gouv.qc.ca website but no luck...
Merci!

Isnt that the restaurant that fired all non-white servers?
They wont be missed, buh-bye.
