Its just too bad that they didn't try to match the tower and the base (à la Marriott Residence Inn Peel) when the windows were being changed.

It would have really modernized the building.

Its all about departure location, speed of trip and drop off location, get all three right and this will be successful. The issue is that there aren't that many options to choose from unless the ferries carry busses and people.

On the Montreal side, the Old Port seems like the only viable drop off point.

Departure wise ferries would have to leave from either St-Constant (near the recrea-o-parc) or East of Ile St-Helene, to avoid the Seaway and the Lachine Rapids.

Yeah there have been many "start" dates for this one. But if this is legit all the better, for the best selling project in Griffintown
