    19 Septembre 2016 Québec a annoncé l'acquisition par la ville de Varennes , des terrains de l'ancienne usine de l'entreprise Petromont pou l'implantation de la zone industrialo-portuaire Contrecœur- Varennes .La localisation des terrains a proximité des réseaux routiers et ferroviaires ainsi que la voie maritime , permettra d'optimiser l'intermodalité des transports et le potentiel de synergie entre les services portuaires, les industries maritime et les industries connexes, notamment celle des secteurs manufacturier et de la transformation. Ce projet est plus long term , mais ces le debut d'une nouvelle zone manufacturée axée sur le transport en vrac, exportation. Ceci est un ajout au projet qui seras annonce a côte sous peu par Grilli Samuel Consortium Immobilier et le Fonds Solidarité FTQ.

  5. Well on a different subject Chenail family (fruit and vegetable wholesaler) bought a huge lot of warehouses on cote de liesse in the industrial aera of Lachine, St-Laurent-, Dorval. They decide to buy from a vancouver promoter this section of the industrial as an investsment. Many people don't know but Montreal is a hub for food. For all the eastern part of Canada from Ottawa to Halifax but also New england, Hartford, New York , Boston. With all those wholesaler in fruit and vegetable located mainly in this zone l'acadie , Hwy 15 , Hwy 40 and Chabanel . We are having a lot of competition . Canadawide,JB Laverdure, Chenail, Ten Star, Sammy Fruit, Tootsie Impex , Thomas, Botsis, Coosemans etc... I could add the andalos bakery one of the biggest pita bread maker on boul Lebeau. Roma Food (Cold meat maker) or Fontaine Santé an hymus maker and so on.

    I will answer you but unfortunately this will not give you the answer . I am a land developer , I am specialized in zonage changes , I do this for myself and for friends . My entourage consists mostly of building contractors , developers , bankers , both local and globally . In my circle we are all determined in changing things around in the Montréal area , regardless of politics ,bisness cycles, taxes or past prejudices concerning Montréal . It is by defining our common forces that makes the team strong , when you have land , you what to see something on it sooner or later , when you have great pieces of land that are well situated ,you what great projets . I do not believe survival in our bisness is possible anymore for loners . Developing consists of having the right zonage for the projet , changing the zonage if needed They take into concern the environmental approval C22 , the right to install services the C32 . Time , money , energy and patience . Nothing comes easy, otherwise everyone would do it . Back to the subject : In the group land has been sold for projets to be announced , leasing agreements are being finalized in downtown Montréal and some major announcements are imminent . I will leave it up to the players involved to choose the hour to do what they have to do , this autumn .

    I read your last few statement and I will have a hard time to sleep tonight..lol

     

    One closed announcement by the end of the month , the rest by the end of November . I hope those who love Montréal will invest to , come on upgrade expand two or three more employees, export a little more , get of your as. . Want to pay less taxes the economy has to move faster . , we have to create better and skillful jobs, everyone will benefit .

  10. Greenlobster et peekay parlent de projets non immobiliers. Jusqu'a *maintenant les projets annoncés sont majoritairement immobiliers et des infrastructures. Est-ce qu'on entre dans une autre phase,? Les transferts vers Montreal. Le personnel, les emplois.

    Ç'est logique, une ville dynamique est attrayante pour les employeurs. J'aime ca. Comme on dit, it fits well.

    Ce revirement majeur , si il n'arrive pas bientot , il va venir au rythme ou vont les choses. En tout cas c'est ce que je souhaite.*

  12. The molson project feels like a nice idea but is it really a "big bang" that puts Montreal back on the map? Seems like a nice little project...but not a massive economic boom.

    Montréal area will bounce back , we are now talking about a major shift around ,financial institutions reorienting hubs and parts of there business , a few come backs from those that left some time ago . A few major European institutions looking to challenge the North American continent. Deals are being signed , many are immanent . I have never seen so many Quebecer's on the drivers seat . Montréal will never be Toronto and for the same reason Toronto will never be Montréal. Vive la difference. Start looking in your rear view mirror looking west on the 401.

  14. Je gagerais que CF ne sait même pas si ils veulent faire 2 ou 3 tours sur ce terrain. Ils avancent à tâton et à coup de dérogation... Quant à la réponse «longue»: vraiment trop longue --mettons-là dans l'enveloppe des options de politique économique à long terme...

    Ces le temps de le dire , les magouilles pour avoir des investissements sont pratique courant partout . Nous au Québec ont doit donner patte blanche . OK , mais il y'a une prix a payer , les subventions qu'ont paye de toute façon. Pas d'accords financier = 0 investissements . Ces la guerre pour avoir des usines , des bureaux corporatifs et tout maintenant . Faut arrête d'être des autruches , il faut ce battre pour avoir une ville dynamique , non pas corrompu ce battre avec les bonnes outils . Ont les as , s'en servir a tous les jours ces autre chose.
