  1. I keep hearing from a friend of mine who’s a real estate agent that every times he’s in the building he finds it’s hard to breathe.

notices that the unit he shows is extremely dusty quickly after only a few days.

can anyone confirm if this is true?

J'imagine que c'est pour ça que tout le monde déménage en Nouvelle-Écosse.....??

I think you've missed the ball on the underlying principle.

Anyways, many provinces throughout Canada have laws set in place to protect the buyer.

Ontario is no more than two delays, Nova Scotia is 360 days, I believe BC and Alberta also have similar scenarios.

Quebec falls short in this aspect.

The loss was minor however: -0,26% for the last 2 decades, and it's actually been positive since 2015. Quebec has had the 2nd lowest interprovincial emigration rate out of the 11 provinces and territories losing population to mainly Alberta and BC during the same period.

Yupp, people move out to AB for higher wages and less taxes.

Their economy is a heavily reliant on oil or finance. Otherwise, it's tough.

    Their winter is absolutely horrible.

    The rockies are beautiful.

Ontario has been having a net loss of inter-provincial moves for some time.

    Really? Never heard that before.

Its okay, we can just stay here as all us MTL keep watching you take another 20 years to finish one building.

There actually a group of people in PVM who have placed a bet on when you’ll finish.

    The pots at $600.

it started at $50 8 years ago.

I didn't know about any such legal protections in ON. If so, it's grean, and we should have this be voted in Qc, too! :)

But your premice that this is the reason "everyone flocks to [ON]" is way off! (I haven't downvoted you, however.)

    Yupp!

in Nova Scotia, a developer can only delay 360 days passed initial promised completion.

Many provinces in the country has such  laws in place to protect consumers.

Buyer not have to wait 10 years to move to their home.

I hope someday the City or even the province of Qc could have effective means to bar such developpers from selling / building anything related to real estate!

Very Simple, have laws that protect buyers from delays. Many other provinces have this set up to protect the buyer. For example, my cousin in Ontario told me that over there if the developer pushes back the delay by two dates stated by the developer, residents have the rights to their deposits back.

Just another reason why everyone flocks to Ontario.

  6. I don''t know why anyone would support this project.

These people Developed TOM Condos, by far the worst condo project in Montreal for the last 9 Years.

These people ruined lives, stole money, lied, cheated, deceived and so so much more.

TOM Condos is just an example of how professional these people are.

A complete and utter embarrassment, you should be ashamed.
