L'Architects Building se situait à l'emplacement actuel du 500 René-Levesque dans le haut de la côte de Beaver Hall

 

L'édifice a été conçu par la firme Barott & Blackader, les mêmes architectes qui ont réalisée l'édifice Aldread sur la place-d'Armes ainsi que l'édifice du Beaver Hall

La construction de la place Ville-Marie a pris fin en 1962, et la photo ci jointe a été prise de la place Ville-Marie !

 

Quand a-il été démoli exactement, avant la fin des années 60 mais quand ?

J'ai de la misère aussi à comprendre pourquoi il a été démoli si ce n'est pas pour l'élargissement de René-Lévesque.

Bizarre en effet, il y a aussi le fait que l'immeuble à sa droite, d'une dizaine d'étages a été démolit aussi et ce bien avant la construction du 500 René Lévesque. Il y-il eu un projet avorté à cet endroit ? C’est une hypothèse.
