Cet édifice devrait être acheté par la ville de Montréal et converti en centre sportif public genre piscine, squash, saunas, centre d'entrainement etc (tous sous un même toit)... L'emplacement est formidable et la demande pour ce type d'installation est là.

Too late for conversion for public use. The building has been gutted for high-end condos (sold at 100%)

I'm not sure this building was the best choice for this kind of use...

 

Like said earlier, it should have become a sport center/library etc.

Le site décrit le projet comme si le tout était complété, mais je doute que ce soit "déjà" le cas.

From Ave du Parc, you can see the forms for the new foundations, which extend from the existing building.

Totally forgot about this project and the fact that I even commented about it!

 

Either way, it looks like it's complete. All the action took place behind and inside the building that barely anyone noticed.

J'ai remarqué les travaux cet été dans le derrière de l'édifice. La préservation de la façade n'aurait plus être mieux fait puisque finalement, rien n'aura changé.

 

De plus, le site web du projet est maintenant hors-ligne.

beaux volumes, super terrasse et piscine mais la déco, mmm... un peu ostentatoire; ça vaux certainement le 5,9 M$
