Wow...what a hideous design. Please tell me they'll skip those circus colours.

 

They're calling this "Le Bloomfield" but I think it's on Beaumont. At the present, Beaumont is not a nice looking street. However, the area can bounce back with the construction of the U de M campus on the tracks.

This is totally unrelated, but...

 

I've always found it somewhat amusing when a 3-storey project gives itself a prestegious-sounding name like "The Bloomfield" or "The SomethingSomething".

 

To me, those kinds of names are reserved for projects of a much bigger and impressive scale.

 

It's like if i called my house "The Phoenix". *ding dong* "Canada Post here, package." "Yes, welcome to The Phoenix. I will take the package."

^ For mansions I like names like "Toad Hall". Very uppity.

Drove by today. The building is up, and they have started putting on some of the exterior materials. So far I have seen some black brick.

C'est presque fini!

Oui j'ai passé devant aujourd'hui, la brique est posée au complet, il reste quelques bordures de finition à ajouter. J'essaierai de prendre une photo bientôt.

Malheureusement je n'ai pas pris de photo mais ce projet est terminé. Je suis passé hier soir et à mon avis il y a meme des gens qui ont emménagés.

 

En passant, il est pas mal bien. Un beau petit projet.
