In the past week we lost around 4 cents to the USD and we are still down against the Swiss Franc; the most I have ever seen. The Swiss Franc is like the new super currency. At this rate, the Swiss Franc and British pound will be equal 4-8 months.

We are practically back at par with the USD and the AUD. The CHF and Euro are almost equal also.

Notre dollar est tombé momentanément sous le dollar US au cours de la nuit...

We are practically back at par with USD Just a few days ago (in over night trading) it was C$1 = US$1.02. Plus the CDN is still down against the Franc and AUD. Plus with the unexceptionally higher inflation from last month, problems still in the US and more and more problems in Europe. No wonder, many Canadian banks think that the country heading towards a recession.

Worst morning in a very long time, C$1 = US$0.9688. All because the world sees the US as a safe haven and commodities are going down. Luckily I have enough money in my US account to pay off my US credit card.

The dollar almost closed at par today against the greenback. The dollar still down against the Australia dollar, Yen and Swiss Franc.
