Obviously it is not only a Quebec problem. Why all of a sudden are these structures collapsing? It should be expected. a massive amount of Roads and bridges were built in the 60's and 70's. WestAust Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Le maire de Laval était a RDI ce matin et amenait un propos tres intéressant, comme quoi plusieurs de ces structures n'ont pas été concues pour la quantité de traffic de camions qu'elles supportent en ce moment. Lorsqu'elles ont été construite, le train était le mode privilégié de transport, le camionnage etait marginal, chose qui n'est plus le cas aujourd'hui, ce qui pourrait avoir des effets sur la durée de vie utile des ponts et structures.
