jesseps Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Sometime during the week I was watching the news and now the city of Montreal giving out a $140 fine if you bring your dog to certain parks. Honestly its stupid. There is barely any green space in this city and most of it is on the mountain, or in the west island or east end. Plus one park near me is one of the parks I know of that you get fined the $140 if you bring your dog, in my case if I bring my dog there. One thing I find weird. I belive you should be happy about it because the fines are directed toward all the punks and hobos who have like 2 dogs each and annoy the hell out of everyone else. His like "I got a $50 fine for asking people for some spare change" I wonder how many of these homeless people get paid from unemployment. Trust me I am way further then a "Brit" Even though I type in english and speak english every day. I am no "Brit" and no one in my family was ever a "Brit" Most of my family came from Eastern Europe (father side) and France (mother side) way back in the 1600s. They will be brought to court then prison for a few days for not paying tickets. This is true. I heard that many years ago the province shrunk the size of its mental institutions, releasing a lot of people to the street. Obviously they were not well-enough to fend for themselves. But there are a lot of healthy ones too. Just outside where I work, there are gypsy beggars. They always have different excuses (need to buy food, need to buy bus tickets, need to make a phone call, etc). One of them even punched a manager in the throat for telling him to vamoose.
