ouaouaron
I have a question: Why would city officials allow Segafredo to have a cheap terrace blocking half of the sidewalk on Ste-Catherine yet at the same time refuse to allow Apple to pay for 3 less parking spots in front of its store? It dosn't make any sense. Corruption or incompetence? I would like to hear your views on this. Thank you.

Malek
terrace should be banned on ste-catherine, (or anywhere for that matter) unless they pay some kind of rent for using up that space.
Gbx
C'est à mon avis ce qui se passe avec les terraces sur sainte catherine.
yarabundi
Corruption AND Incompetence It's more to me like lack of vision and lack of good commercialisation. Incompetence, finally !!
cjb
Mais je crois que les terrasses paient quand même un gros montant pour louer la rue. On parle de centaines de dollars par mois. Ça a rapport avec la politique verte de la ville je crois, ils ne veulent pas encourager le stationnement automobile au centre-ville.
ouaouaron
Haha! Thanks for your replies, they are refreshing. It can't be because of their "environmental policy" because if there is one thing that's green, it's limiting the number of parking spaces dwtn!
