Sorry, they did not. This has been like that since a fire burned down the victorian house that was attached to the building.

I was at the Ville-Marie council meeting tonight. During the public question period a citizen wanted to know what was happening with this project. A spokeperson for the city confirmed that a building permit was issued in May, but work didn't start because of the complications of the infrastrure work going on in the vicinity (Guy & Sherbrooke). He seemed confident work would start before it expires in 12 months.

J'ai passé à côté du Medical Arts Building aujourd'hui. L'escalier de secours est en train d'être recouvert en brique (la brique est une couleur semblable, mais non identique, à la brique existant du bâtiment).
