mont royal
As of Oct 29, BA will shift its daily flight from the 787-8 to a 777-200ER. Depending upon the configuration, that means a daily increase of approximately 70 passengers. It seems to me that an increase in autumn capacity over summer capacity is unusual. There is no indication that this is a temporary 'autumn colours' decision. Is this part of a larger pattern?
caribb
Through the summer they’ve scheduled more 787-9´s than 8’s. I even seen a few 787-10’s come in this spring so hopefully it’s a sign they’re growing here. The last time I flew them to London from Montreal it was on a 777-200 back pre 2010.
thenoflyzone
They’re subbing the 777 because the 787s are going in for interior modifications in the fall. New club suites. https://simpleflying.com/british-airways-boeing-787s-retrofitted-club-suites/ 1
internationalx
Nothing beats a 747 in BA colors. Especially the old Landor livery. Miss those days. 1
