Montreal in the 60s-70s, hell yeah! Expo, olympics, major construction and infrastructure. Does anyone in the forum remember those decades? Even if it was as a child, I'm sure the memories are of a grandiose and modern city.

Yes I remember it. Surprisingly enough I tought it was exciting but normal. I thought that it was kind of "in the air". I remember the construction of Place Dupuis, Complexe Desjardins, Complexe Guy-Favreau, the Palais des Congrès (phase I and II), the complexe Bell-BN, the I.C.A.O. on Sherbrooke, the Sheraton on R.-L. W., etc...

I've seen everything going up from the 1970's to 1984 and from 1991 to today.

I missed the construction of the 1000 and the 1250 because I was not in Canada at the time.
