MONTREAL, July 30, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Transat is pleased to operate its first commercial flights today after six months of inactivity due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Three flights are scheduled today: Montreal-Punta Cana, Punta Cana-Montreal and Montreal-Vancouver. These flights kick off the airline's summer program, which will include, at the height of the season, 24 routes to 16 destinations in Canada, the United States, the South and Europe.

Air Transat is planning a massive increase from YUL for next summer. Highlights include daily flights to Gatwick and twice daily to Paris. In Canada, 10 weekly flights to Vancouver and 8 weekly to Calgary. 

Folowing destinations and number of weekly Flights:

amsterdam 3; Athens 3; Basel 1; Barcelona 3; Bordeaux 4; Brussels 3;Lisbon 5; Lyon 4; Madrid 3; Malaga 2; Marseille 5; Nantes 3; Nice 2; Porto 2; ROME 4; Toulouse 4; Venice 2

and...SAN Francisco 2; LA 3; Fort Lauderdale 4; Miami 3, Orlando 2

plus Caribbean destinations, Toronto, Quebec

About 30 daily flights out of YUL
