Timothy
Excellente nouvelle, dix destinations qui s'ajoutent au réseau Provincial Airlines... I think that many of these stations are already served by PAL, particularly with one-offs during these past thirteen months of COVID. So it's nice to see things going sked at YOW, YVO... mont royal
PAL has the advantage of being a real, experienced, well-run airline. If They see YUL as their western hub, it will continue to fill some of the gaps created by the AC pull -out from the smaller Quebec and Atlantic communities. Timothy
mont royal, I concur... and they’re often flying a 1900D on YUL-Bagotville, which does not appear in these scheduled route additions. In a similar COVID-concurrent manner, Air Inuit seems to be doing more one-offs from YUL into places like Miramichi and Mont-Joli. These are interesting times indeed. Timothy
Update: PAL has just signed an interline agreement with Air Canada. What this could mean is for the next couple of years, while traffic recovers, PAL will feed cnx to AC from many regional stations, and Jazz won’t re-enter those markets just yet. That’s my guess. I’m not sure if PAL flights will carry AC code, does anyone know?
thenoflyzone
Interline agreements usually mean no exchange of codes between airlines. That happens with codeshares.
