Couldve been razed and new glass podium built at the same height as the building on the left. Dis toi que si l'immeuble pourrait se faire démolir, on aurait droit à un 2ième immeuble à la St-Gabriel, qui détonne dans le paysage et qui est de l'autre côté de la rue. Au moins ici, avec le retrait, la rue Ste-Catherine ne vas pas feeler comme un canyon. De plus, cette façade a été récemment rénovée. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

J'aime le recul de l’édifice par rapport à la rue de même que la conservation de la partie qui se trouve sur Sainte-Catherine. Et en plus on densifie encore plus le quartier. Moi aussi je suis pour la singularisation des projets, plutôt que la standardisation avec une énième façade de verre. Il faut encourager la diversité des revêtements et des design tout en valorisant les immeubles déjà existants.
