Even in those subdued, “Brooklynesque” tones, the maquette shows how well-considered the volumes and setbacks are for this site.

…also I’m really looking forward to seeing that ramp (ski slope?) in the real world when phase 3 is complete!

The maquette serves to better understand the public spaces and how they will integrate into the project. The wide central placette that will merge into a public park, as well as Tansley and Falardeau streets that will be extended east of ave De Lorimier.

The new neighbourhood does have a little bit of Brooklyn feel.

Can't wait for them to lay the brown bricks along Ste-Cat. It will bring warmth and coziness to the project/area. The use of lighter bricks for the taller buildings that are dispersed throughout will add some lightness, sort of like negative spaces we will encounter as we enter the heart of the project.  And yes, that grand stairway to view the bridge and the river! Now that's a spot for a bar terrace!  Looks like it's sandwiched into that phase, like the Marcus Restaurant overlooking Crescent Street at the Four Seasons Hotel.  I would like to see a hotel integrated into this project.

That is one helluva long staircase! Wonder if it'll be used for cardio à la Rocky...

Au dessus de cet escalier, c'est excatement l'image d'architecture qu'on voit sur les pub de la phase 3. Pourtant c'est pas la phase 3.
