La plupart des gens que je connais à l'île des soeurs viennent à Brossard faire leur shopping et épicerie. Mon collègue qui habite à ids vien à Brossard juste pour du Starbucks

Ton collègue aime visiblement faire des centaines de kilomètres inutilement car s'il faisait tout simplement son épicerie au Provigo de l'Ile des Soeurs il aurait découvert ça :

Mais bon. Le bon côté c que l'Île des soeurs est également une porte d'entrée pour ceux qui traversent le pont en direction de Montréal... et elle sera beaucoup plus visible à cet endroit, me semble. Elle passerait quasi inaperçue dans la jungle griffintown...

Par contre dans la savane de Griffintown constituée de zèbres de 80m elle serait une vraie girafe avec ses 143m, soit presque deux fois plus haut que tout le reste.

Dans mon esprit elle se serait conformée aux règles... mais grandiose si on avait fait exception pour elle (les exceptions manquent cruellement à griffintown comme au centre-ville). Autrement, l'île des soeurs est un emplacement idéal, un atout non-négligeable.

Il y avait une hauteur maximale à l'IDS mais elle ne cesse d'être bafouée ces derniers temps sauf pour la dernière Evolo qui en arrache pour passer son projet. L'enveloppe remise sous la table ne devait pas être assez épaisse.

I’m thinking of investing (will be renting it out) in a one bedroom apartment - a bit confused about which option to go for. 

Symphonia Viu, low floor, 700 sq foot, 1 parking, with locker for 445K, 0.44$/sq foot service charge

Wellington sur basin (Griffintown), low floor, 530 sq foot, 1 parking, with locker for 445K, 0.55$/sq foot service charge

Wellington could be a "poker" play: if the Baseball stadium finally gets built in a couple of years on the other side of the canal, values in the vincinity will explode, and on top of that a new REM station may be built close to it. Nuns Island is steady as they go, but values will get a boost from the new REM station next year. As for who rents 1 bedrooms, in Griffintown there is a huge population (and I mean huge) of youngsters in their 20s and 30s and I suspect the demography for Nuns Island tenants is higher than that. Depends what you prefer to get.

How is 530 sqft a 1bdr, thats more like a studio. And i presume thats gross area. I dont think rent would be higher in griffintown than the symphonia one. The advantage is griffintown is big airbnb market if your allowed.
