Set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart, Montreal was named Canada’s Cultural Capital by Monocle Magazine. Montréal is a busy and exhilarating city that includes neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to the hip and laidback Mile-End. Montreal’s many cultural communities have given it a distinct local culture. Every summer sees the arrival of many festivals in the city. The city’s largest festival is the Montreal International Jazz Festival, which is the biggest jazz festival in the world. Other popular festivals include the Just for Laughs (largest comedy festival in the world) and the Montreal World Film Festival. Montreal is also home to the famous Cirque du Soleil, which performs in a marvellous tent complex by the water. Highlights of the city include the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montreal, which features works from European heavyweights as well as exquisite Canadian art, the Atwater Market and the Places d’Arme, an open square framed by some of the finest buildings in Old Montréal, including its oldest bank, its first skyscraper and the Basilique Notre-Dame. Announcement on Instagram This morning, Brussels Airlines posted a fun contest on its Instagram account, the participants had to look out for eight letters that were randomly placed in downtown Brussels. Bringing those eight letters together, you would then discover Montreal as Brussels Airlines’ newest long-haul destination.

bxlmontreal
thenoflyzone
SN is following what OS did. Terminate YYZ, start YUL. Great move. I always found it weird to see a Belgian airline serve YYZ and not YUL. This has now been corrected.
Rusty
But the difference between VIE and BRU is that AC and SN will service YUL .... wow

Exposteve
So will YUL maintain service to BRU on AC as well? So we will have year-round AC service to BRU on AC and seasonal service to BRU on SN?
Rusty
it seems to be the case as sabre already loaded SN and AC both there
Exposteve
Based on this AC release, it says the new YYZ-BRU service compliments the existing AC service to BRU from YUL... so that is great. https://aircanada.mediaroom.com/2019-09-04-Air-Canada-To-Launch-Flights-from-Toronto-to-Belgiums-Capital
bxlmontreal
