I’m not worried. By this time next year, almost all foreign airlines that served YUL will be back. The only one that won’t be back immediately is OS. They got rid of half of their B763s.

Air China seems to have resumed PEK-YUL today. Dont know if it's a one off or not, because on their website, schedules show the route resuming on Sept 2 only. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/f

Doug - British Airways will be back in YUL. Right now there's no agreement between Canada and the UK - UK citizens are not allowed in the country and Canadians must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival

I’m also watching Yul BA very closely... I also noticed Calgary is not on that list also ... well maybe it will be in the next phase of launches ?

Hopefully. BA is downsizing like all other carriers. It might not return until next summer when things settle. However, I read on airliners.net they were dropping all 787-8 cities in the US.. i can’t see that being a USA only decision.. There are a few 787-8s in this schedule but I don’t know if they were before. Our 787-8s may have just filled in for bigger planes there instead. At bare minimum we need Air France, Lufthansa and British Airways from Europe, it’d be a big blow to us if they left.

Unfortunately there's very few UK Nationals who live in Quebec, and few Quebeckers who live in the UK - unlike Toronto/Vancouver. Conversely, Air France flies to Montreal but not Toronto nor Vancouver at this time.

Even Air Canada isn't flying Montreal-Heathrow and I assure you they will be back.
