Ça change rien au fait que beaucoup de vols int'l sont opérés à partir de portes domestiques. Qu'est-ce qui va arriver dans ce cas?

Yep but i doubt that it woiuld really boost that much the connecting traffic. This transit without visa applies only for 4 asian countries. Phillipine, Thailande, Taiwan and Indonesia,

It's good for Vancouver , for Montreal not really.

À compter du 3 avril 2019, la zone située juste après le point de fouille domestique/international à YUL sera réaménagée en deux espaces distincts :

If I understand correctly, someone travelling flying NCE-LIM (connecting in YUL) will still need to clear customs before taking the flight to LIM.

So what are the scenarios were the connection would be quicker and more efficient after separating Domestic/International?

The goal is to (eventually - when regulations change) allow sixth freedom travelers (i.e. those coming from one foreign country transiting through YUL but with a destination in another foreign country) not to have to clear customs.

• EX: someone flying JFK (USA) - YUL (CAN) - LHR (UK)
• That person would have no reason to clear customs in YUL since they are not setting foot on Canadian soil, and therefore their connection would be faster if they could just stay in a pure "international" terminal.

For this to be possible, though, there needs to be separate from a domestic terminal in cases of travelers coming from a foreign country, and transiting YUL on the way to another Canadian airport:

• EX: someone flying JFK (USA) - YUL (CAN) - YYZ (CAN)
• That person would need to clear customs on arrival in Montreal since the flight to YYZ will be a domestic flight - and therefore arriving passangers would not clear customs in YYZ.

LH will be operating YUL-FRA for AC in the month of May, with an A333. This is on top of LH's own seasonal YUL-FRA, operated by CityLine A343, which resumes May 10.

Along with the YUL-MUC A359 service, this means from May 10 til May 31, there will be 3 LH flights into YUL every day.

Update sur la stérilisation de la jetée internationale.

Ils ont installé un mur en vitre de 6 pieds autour de la barrière 51, avec une entrée contrôlé juste en face du duty free. Donc la barrière 51 peut être utilisée pour des vols international si nécessaire.
