Sorry, not an actual update, but I found this 1977 picture on Facebook (credit Jerry Goodrow). You can see what was torn down to make way for "the manhattan"

Something is wrong with this pic. This is not the block of the Manhattan. Manhattan is on a corner street.

La prise de vue de la photo de 1977.  

Les édifices au bas complètement de la photo de 1977 sont l'arrière des bâtiments concernées, au 1664-1682 Lincoln. 

Les mêmes qu'à la pointe de la flèche rouge sur la vue googleearth.

C'est le petit, de quatre étages, l'autre bords de la rue qui a été détruit.

The authorization for demolition sign in front of the lot as seen in the two photos is gone. I don’t know if this is because of vandalism, or the project was canned ? Hopefully they went back to the drawing board because the proposed building looked ugly as hell.
