Nope, it's right behind the photograph. The road in the foreground is Jeanne Mance. The building in construction in the foreground is either the Courtyard Mariot or the AC Hotel by Marriott. The addition of theses 2 buildings already changes that stretch of René-Lévesque quite a bit. The 500 René-Lévesque is no longer visible from that same viewpoint nowadays.

Here's a close approximation of the same photo using Google Street View. This is quite literally taken in the middle of the intersection. The photo might have been taken a bit further out, but the intersection you are seeing in front is definitely Jeanne Mance. There is a flag pole near Saint-Urbain, but it's not in the photo. There is another one near Jeanne Mance and that's the one you are seeing in that photo. If you start going further back, the second flag starts showing up in the photo. The photo used to illustrate the viaduct is obviously quite old when compared to the Google street view photo which is barely a few months old.

The illustration is more scaremongering sensationalism than “caricature” or satire. It’s showing a highly inaccurate but realistic — and overwrought — interpretation of what it “could” resemble, to a loyal readership of largely gullible rubes.

Although not to scale I believe the image gives an accurate rendition of what we would see. This is Seattle monorail from street view; practical but not pretty.

Mardi matin au 98.5 FM, Serge Chapleau, invité, était soudainement devenu un expert critique en transport en commun à l'émission de Isabelle Maréchal.

Ça commence à être le temps qu'elle s'en aille et qu'on passe à autre chose que des lignes ouvertes de mémères.

On s'entend que le matin de 9 à 11 y'a juste des mémères qui écoutent la radio. Facque à vise son public. Elle était encore numéro 1 de son créneau la Maréchal.
