Well generally speaking whatever survives is worth protecting at some point. You are right that a lot of it is kinda worthless but the tour d'aiguillage is still there and so is the pont tournant. Either way the REM team knew these weren't going away yet the bridge over the canal just sort of plow through all of that with no attempt at harmonizing anything.

yep.  et pareil au dessus du canal.  La structure de la branche Rive-Sud est bien moins élégante que celle vers l'ouest, faite en voussoirs

We have yet to see what the elevated sections of the DM branch west of Bois-de-Liesse look like. Sunnybrooke and Pfds-Rox look massive and the trains will be high above the surrounding SFHs. I’m mildly concerned. 😉

Ne veulent-ils pas couler les plateformes sur Griffintown avant que les trains roulent? Ce serait plus facile non?

En général je suis surpris qu'ils n'ont pas délaissé les constructions des stations des branches tierciaires et accélérer celle de Griffintown pour la livrer en 2021, mais je ne sais pas ce que cela aurait impliqué en termes de coûts.
