avilner10
It may be low-rise, but this is one huge baby... I don't think "Small Projects" is the right section to put this thread under.

Gotti
Merci Jerry. Donc juste à côté... Restent-ils des lots de développements pour des tours genre densité de Griffintown? Les gens du forum parlent souvent du potentiel de développement qu'un future stade représente. Mais resteraient-ils des espaces libres?
budgebandit
I'm going to the launch event today, will try to take some pictures. For what it's worth they said that 200 people officially confirmed their presence but they are only making 25 condos available.

budgebandit
They made 24 condos available (1, 2 and 3 bedroom models) for the launch event. 18/24 are sold/reserved, meaning they can break ground for phase 1 in the next few weeks. The project will have 15/16 phases total, including 2 phases of HLM to satisfy the demands set forth by the city. The HLM phases will border the new park (see site plan below). Overall seems like an interesting project but prices are high for the area ($259K + tax for a 1 bedroom). 1
ymenard
C'est intéressant de voir comment le développement irait jusqu’à la limite des voie de trains, et qu'on parle de l'enlèvement d'un petit boisé (probablement contaminé et de faible valeur, mais quand même un boisé dans la ville-centre). Rocco
This is basically Pointe St-Charles with a new funky name and Griffintown prices. No thanks!

I bought a 2-bedroom on the same street (in the same development) 3 months ago for less than the starting price for a 1-bed. Hope they aren't planning to build all these homes without improving transit. It's a 20+ minute walk to a metro and the bus service isn't great.
