TS already flies YUL-MAD, so technically not a new route.

True.  I guess I had AC and hub opportunities/growth on my mind.    Don't get me wrong, I'd love some foreign tail at YUL though but AC is the big mover and shaker at Trudeau.

AC seems to be doing well on YUL-TLV. Flights resumed last week, and will operate for 8 months.

Tel Aviv est une destination soleil et c'est surprenant que le vol ne soit pas positionné comme tel.

Not mentioned here, however if you do a simple search for YUL-LIM next winter you'll notice it's now 3 weekly with an added flight on Thursday.

J’ai appris de source tres bien informée que Montreal aura une nouvelle liaison aerienne vers une ville majeure, je ne peux dire laquelle mais ce n’est pas en asie. Je vous laisse spéculer:D

I don't know why, but I feel like mentioning CAI for some reason. MS used to fly the route, it's definately a major city, and there is definately demand, now that the policital and economic situation in Egypt is a bit more stable. Not saying it will be CAi, but there is an outside chance.....Rouge B763 is a perfect fit for the route.
