Regardless of Toronto's numbers, I have to say I'm really happy that Montreal is seeing such growth !! If we could sustain that for 5 years!

Ah ouais ? moi la derniere fois que j’ai cu cétait 250 milliards. Mais bon faut aussi prendre en compte que cest  l’équivalent de 1.5 fois Montreal en population donc jimagine que ca participe.

Oui c’est clair que le PIB du GTA est beaucoup plus élevé. Par contre si on prend en compte la population et quon divise le PIB par le nombre d’habitants, ca devient tres equilibré entre les deux villes.

London and Paris having lower economic growth than Montreal by the way.

Montreal 3.2% not that bad. 

Montreal slowly is growing it's a work in progress. 

La confiance est la c'est difficile de se refaire une reputation mais j'ai confiance pour Montreal. Il faut absolument avoir plus d'immigration c'est un des facteurs majeur de la croissance rapide de Toronto.

Il faut qu'on dépasse Toronto d'un point de vue démographique rendu là. Faut pas être trop obsédé par ça non plus lol.

There is only one way to compete with Toronto and it's Demography. As simple as that.And Toronto win on this side getting  twice the amount of immigrants that Montreal is receiving year over year for decades.

...more like three times the people each year!  Toronto receives on average between 90,000 and 130,000 people per year, whereas Montreal receives between 30,000 and 50,000 per year.
