A friend of mine confirmed the other day that Peugeot is currently carrying out a feasibility study, with the help of Broccolini, for a new warehouse/plant in Vaudreuil. The facility may also include a test track. As of right now this is all very preliminary, but definitely something to follow closely! If anyone else has any information, please share it! (See picture for proposed location)*

I live 5 minutes away from there. That land certainly doesn't have enough space for what you're talking about, nor is there the necessary rail transport options close by. The closest rail line (minus the light commuter line that runs parallel to the 40) is next to the 20. It's just my opinion but there are far better places for this than off of FX Tessier.

Hang on, Peugeot, le constructeur automobile qui est pas en Amérique depuis presque 30 ans? Je pense qu'il y a bien des rumeurs disant que Peugeot/Citroën manigance un retour en Amérique. Si c'est bien le cas, on imagine qu'ils vont avoir besoin d'un minimum de production ici. Intéressant...

Charge ensuite à Renault Canada Ltd de revendre les modèles sur le marché canadien.

 

Dès le début de l’année 1965, l’usine est prête à assembler des Renault Dauphine, 8 et 10, mais aussi des Peugeot 404, dénommées « Alouette », et des 204 après que Peugeot se soit joint à l’affaire»

It will be interesting to see what comes of this. If they were thinking of building cars, wouldn't it have been a better idea more north of the city? Like where GM use to built the Firebird? Nevermind, just read the plant was demolished.
